There is no charge to enjoy the LouWISiana Hot Sauce Fest. The Hot Sauce party goes on rain-or-shine under a large tent, where there is exceptional music and a large wood dance floor for dancers to show their "stuff".
The Hot Sauce Fest is part of a larger (also free) event called Sawdust Days. Sawdust Days is the City of Oshkosh's Annual 4th of July Festival. The festival consists of 4 music stages (including the Hot Sauce stage), a large carnival, flee market, 1800's history trade camp, special shows, lots of food, and the spectacular Festival Foods July 4th fireworks show. Sawdust Days is located in beautiful Menominee Park, next to Lake Winnebago. Menominee Park is Oshkosh's "showcase" park. The 109 acre park features the "Little Oshkosh" community built playground, a zoo, beach, amusement rides, softball diamonds, tennis courts, walking/jogging trails, soccer fields, a basketball court, food concessions, fishing, plus plenty of boating facilities.
Sawdust Days and Menominee Park are a great destination for families and visitors from all-over. There should be a "big-red" mark on everyones calendar for Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the 4th of July weekend!
